Apostle A. L. Herrera

Apostle Tony Herrera is a native New Yorker and the product of a thriving and talented Harlem community that produced such artists as, Cameo, Black Ivory, and Keith Sweat. Apostle Herrera is an author, a songwriter, and a proud father of three sons, and husband to his wife Kim.

MUSICAL JOURNEY:
RUSH ARTIST MANAGEMENT – His musical career started at RUSH Artist Management where he was known as “Tony Rome” and

worked as a Tour Manager and National Promoter Representative. In his dual roles, he helped in the career development and promotion of artists such as Whodini, Kurtis Blow, Run-DMC, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Eric B & Rakim, and many others. While working at RUSH Artist Management alongside Russel Simmons and Lyor Cohen, he made certain to take time and visit his mother’s church often attending prayer meetings with her when he was not traveling on tour. It was during these times, along with the prayers of the church, that his eyes were opened as the Holy Spirit led him away from the fast-paced lifestyle of the entertainment industry along with its dangers and trappings towards a new life in Christ Jesus.

LIFE IN MINISTRY:
HARLEM TABERNACLE CHURCH – Tony served as a member of the choir and was on the security team at Harlem Tabernacle Church where Dr. Ernest Cameron was the founder and Senior Pastor. During his membership and service at Harlem Tabernacle, he had the pleasure of meeting the late Dr. Lester Sumrall.

CHRIST CHURCH INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES - Served as Administrative/Youth Pastor while working alongside Apostle James C.A. Duncan PHD. of Christ Church International Ministries in New York City, New York. While at C.C.I.M., Apostle Herrera served as assistant to Apostle Duncan and was also responsible for serving alongside Apostle Duncan on the team of Presbyters at consecration services and ordination services. During his time at C.C.I.M., he developed a working relationship with other leaders who were connected to the ministry such as Arch Bishop-Elect Bishop Erskine Williams and the late Apostle Loretta Taylor and the late Apostle Nina Marie Leslie
respectively.

Apostle Antonio L. Herrera is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Spirit & The Word United Ministries Inc. and the Apostolic Reformation Council. Apostle Herrera is responsible for equipping, training, and ordaining leaders within the body of Christ. Along with his wife, First Lady Kim Herrera, Apostle Herrera conducts weekly services for Bible Study, Intercessory prayer, Sunday Worship, and leadership training classes.

“The journey is ongoing, and growth is continual. Each new level, each new dimension is not an arrival but a new beginning and an opportunity for further growth.” The Lord is truly leading me toward his expected purpose for my life, according to Jeremiah 29:11.
